Our Commitment to Community
UltraMedia is dedicated to serving the community of Dallas, in more ways than just installing good audio and video.
Lone Survivor Foundation Retreat Facility
Pat and Matt assisted Luke in his generous donation of time and audio/video materials to the building of the Lone Survivor Foundation (LSF) Retreat Facility in Crystal Beach, TX. LSF conducts retreats with a focus on wellness and therapeutic support. They serve all military branches, and treat combat stress and other war-induced traumas. They help individual service members, couples, and families. Audioquest was one of the many vendors who generously donated to this wonderful cause.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of North Texas Clay Shoot
Pat Johnson and a young neighbor attended this fun event at Elm Fork Shooting Park in Dallas. This day in the outdoors was for adults and children of all skill levels who enjoy the fast pace of shooting sporting clays. Proceeds went to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Outdoor Mentoring Programs, and will match more than 100 children in North Texas with safe, caring adult mentors for an entire year! These programs partner adults with a passion for the outdoors with children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to spend time in this natural setting. Whether fishing, camping or hiking, these adventures open up doors of opportunity to children that previously went unrealized.
Dallas Police Department
UltraMedia assisted the Dallas Police Department’s covert unit by donating a broken 43” plasma television to a sting operation.
Dallas Wind Symphony
The Dallas Wind Symphony is highly regarded, considered by many to be the premier civilian windband in the world. According to Executive Director Kim Campbell, concerts are just a small part of the bigger picture; “Music affects us all – no matter the age. We know music instruction for the young helps to train the mind. It instills confidence, enhances math skills, teaches cooperation, listening, self-discipline. If we can help to do that with the Institute, what better way to help our youth, our schools, our community?” To promote education outreach, UltraMedia provides a flat-screen television during each concert, informing guests about the programs and resources available to students.
UltraMedia participated in public television station KERA Channel 13’s quarterly membership pledge drive. Volunteers worked to support KERA’s excellent programming—shows like Nature, NOVA, Great Performances, and the ever-popular British Comedies.
St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway
UltraMedia provided the home theater and home entertainment infrastructure for the Dallas St. Jude Dream Home. The Dream Home was raffled off, and over $1M was raised for St. Jude. UltraMedia donated labor and materials to future-proof this beautiful Cary Clarke home. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
Low Birth Weight Development Center
Mike Brock was invited by Rene Designs to participate in a charity golf tournament at the Hackberry Creek Country Club to benefit the Low Birth Weight Development Center in Dallas. The Low Birth Weight Development Center addresses the unique issues for high-risk infants and their families. The first three years in follow-up care is crucial for these babies. Intervention and support can improve their long-term outcomes and reduce the risks for life-long disabilities.
Muscular Dystrophy Association
Local business owners and volunteers were “locked up” at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Plano, and were released on “bond” when they reached their donations goal. Many of UltraMedia’s clients and vendors made substantial donations, exceeding our goal with contributions totalling over $3500! The drive enabled children with MD to attend MDA Summer Camp.
The Oakridge School
UltraMedia showed support for The Oakridge School during their Super Supper and Auction. UltraMedia helped make the auction a huge success. The Oakridge School has established a reputation as Arlington, TX’s premier private school.
Supporters of Children’s Charities
UltraMedia volunteered for Supporters of Children’s Charities Weingarten during Addisons Oktoberfest. Volunteers worked nonstop, pouring samples of German wines from their extensive collection. Supporters of Children’s Charities (SCC) raises funds to aid children at risk. SCC provides hundreds of volunteers for events benefiting these children, such as the Mayor’s Ball, the Heart Ball, Oktoberfest, and the Love For Kids Christmas. SCC is also a premiere social organization, consisting of professional men and women from around the Metroplex.
Tassie’s Hope Animal Rescue
Tassie’s Hope is a non-profit organization that provides shelter and medical care for stray or abandoned animals in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. Pat Johnson provides basic training for dogs rescued through Tassie’s Hope. A dog with good manners, comfortable with basic commands, is the most adoptable pet.
Saint Timothy Academy
UltraMedia was honored to participate in the St. Timothy Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction. St. Timothy offers a Christian education for students with learning differences in kindergarten through sixth grade, offering a non-traditional approach to academic success in a Christian setting. With a maximum class size of 20 students, the Academy’s certified teaching professionals provide a rigorous academic program.
Toy drive for Iraqi children
In conjunction with the U.S. Army Reserve Logistics Division, UltraMedia conducted a stuffed toy drive for the children of Iraq. We collected nearly 100 new stuffed toys from clients all over Dallas, for children caught in the middle of a war. The soldiers will never forget the smiles and giggles as the children immersed themselves in boxes of new little furry friends.
United Negro College Fund
UltraMedia participated in the Red Hot & Snazzy Gala at the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion. UltraMedia helped raise funds by donating consultation services for the UNCF silent auction. UNCF plays a critical role in enabling more than 65,000 students to attend college each year.
